Madden-Norcross Bill Would Designate Route 42 as "Purple Heart Memorial Highway"

Yesterday, this bill passed the NJ Transportation committee. It will head to the full Senate for a vote. Any help in the way of calls or letters the veterans can offer, would be great. Senators Madden and Norcross are the prime sponsors. The Assembly companion bill number is A2255 and is sponsored by Assemblyman Gilbert Wilson. The purpose of the bill is to permanently rename Route 42 the "Route 42 Purple Heart Memorial Highway." The language for the bill is available at www.njleg.state.nj.us.
